Aborting a Connection Attempt

Print (Alt+1) Previous (Alt+P) Beginning of ChapterNext (Alt+N)

If you think the modem is trying to establish a connection after dialling or answering a call, and you wish to abort the process, for example, because you dialled the wrong number, press CR without typing anything first. This will cause the modem to respond "NO CARRIER", and you are ready to dial or answer again.
