The command interpreter supports a command to answer an incoming call. By default, this is simply letter "a", in accordance with the answering command of the Dacom modem.
When the telephone starts to ring, the word "Ring" will be received on the Braille display at regular intervals. Type "a" and press CR; the accepted message will be displayed and the modem subsequently report connection or failure.
You can configure VB mode to not use an answer command. In that case, pressing the Escape key answers an incoming call, as per standard operation. ESC is still used to hang up a call when online. If a command interpreter answering command is set up, as per default, but has no effect offline.
