When you are working in your e-mail program, you may wish to forward a received message to someone else. You can use an address in the WintextCom directory for this purpose as follows:
- Invoke the forward command in your e-mail program. This is often done by clicking the Forward button or pressing Control F.
- Usually, the forward command places the insertion cursor in the To box of an outgoing message for you to enter the recipient's address. Invoke the WintextCom directory by pressing its shortcut key or clicking a visible WintextCom icon.
- Locate the e-mail address entry of interest. You can do this by navigating through the directory with the Arrow and Page keys or by typing in part of the address or name field of the entry until it becomes highlighted.
- Double left click on the entry or ensure it is highlighted and press Control ENTER. The e-mail address appears in the To Box of the message you are sending to forward another message.
- Continue as you would if you had entered the address any other way, according to how your e-mail program operates. Usually, you would move to the body field to enter comments by pressing the Tab key or clicking in th field.
To enter more than one recipient from the directory for the forwarded message, repeat the above procedure with the insertion cursor in the appropriate place in the box where you wish to add the recipient.
