You can use the "m" configuration switch to control the e-mail signature in WintextCom. If this directive is followed by a:

• Plus sign ("+", default), the signature is on and is appended to all standard outgoing mail.
• Exclamation mark ("!"), the signature is off, not used.
• Colon (":"), WintextCom prompts you whether to append the signature when you select an e-mail address in the director; press letter "y" or click the Yes button to append the signature, press letter "n" or click the No button to not append it.

 

You can further control the use of the signature with directory entry formatting. Specifying the signature setting on a per-recipient basis is covered in the next section, while additionally changing the text on a per-message basis is discussed under e-mail templates.
