You can create a shortcut to an address book entry in the WintextCom directory. An address book shortcut directory entry is exactly the same as a standard e-mail entry, except that it creates a new e-mail message to the specified address book recipient, which may be a group, instead of to a specified address.
To set up an address book shortcut, type the address book name in the information field where you would normally enter the e-mail address itself, and place the at sign ("@") at the end. For example, if you have Jack's e-mail address in the Windows address book stored as "Jack", you can e-mail him using the directory entry:
"E-mail: Jack@".
Name completion is supported, so you do not have to enter the full address book name or the same capitalisation. For example, If Jack is stored with his second name, just "jack@" or even "jac@" will create an e-mail to him, as long as the abbreviation does not match any other address book entry as well. If your directory entry matches more than one possible name in the address book, you will be presented with a list of the possible address book entries to select the required one when you send the e-mail.
You can create an e-mail template for an address book entry in just the same way that you do for standard directory e-mail entries. Place a colon (":") after the at sign at the end of the name, and follow the rules discussed in the section on E-mail Templates.
