In addition to its standard operation for answering telephone calls and using a text answer machine, described in the WintextCom tutorial, WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm) provides some special capabilities for accessing these features as a Windows service rather than as part of an application.
To use these capabilities, WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm) needs to be running in the background when you are working with another Windows program. Preferably, you should have the WTC software set up to run in Hide Mode, the recommended standard usage mode. The features described below provide alternative commands to answer the telephone and access the answerphone that save you having to activate WTC first.
