This page of the WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm) installer comes up when you click OK on the opening information screen (or the WTC already running notice if it appears). It provides information confirming that you are installing WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm) and the version of the software. "Evaluation Edition" appears in brackets following the software name if you are installing the demonstration version for your evaluation. You are also advised to close down any other programs before proceeding.

It is advisable not to have other software running on your system when you run the WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm) or any other Installation Wizard. Usually, there would not be a conflict, but you should at least ensure that you have no programs open with unsaved data in them, such as a word processor document, since it would then be lost if for any reason the installer crashed. Some software installations perform system operations that can interfere with certain other programs, or may trigger antivirus software or similar. The provider of the software and its installer should explain any particular issues. Installing WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm) does not make system changes beyond placing its own information in the Windows registry.
