WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm) is provided packaged into a program called an Installation Wizard that contains all the required files and information associated with the software. When you run the Installation Wizard, otherwise known as the install wizard or install or setup program, or just installer, it extracts all the necessary files from within itself and places them on your computer's hard disk where they can be used. Install wizards also perform a lesser or a greater amount of initialisation and setup of the software, depending on the nature of the software being installed and what the provider of that software considers appropriate.

The WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm) installer is called

[****]

"WintextCom[version]demosetup.exe",

or

"WintextCom[version]setup.exe",

depending on whether it is for the demonstration version of the software (evaluation edition) or the registered package, where "[version]" is a string of digits representing the software version number.

If you have received the software by some other means than downloading it from the S.W.H.-Wintextware website, it is probably packaged in a .zip file of the same name, just with extension ".zip" instead of ".exe". The installer itself, with extension ".exe", will be inside the .zip file and you can run it immediately from there, no need to extract it separately first.

You can freely distribute the demonstration version of WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm),

"WintextCom[version]demosetup.exe",

so long as it is distributed in unmodified form with all files included in their original form as in the S.W.H.-Wintextware distribution.

Run the downloaded or provided Installation Wizard to install WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm) on your computer. The following sections briefly outline the steps involved in installing WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm).
