This page requires you to enter your name as the user of WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm). If you are installing an evaluation version of the software, this page is still shown and

the name you enter is associated with the software in the About dialogue on the help menu. WintextCom will also use this name in the default message on the text answerphone. By default, the Installation Wizard uses your Windows username to identify you, but you can enter a different name specific to your use of WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm) if required.

This page also enables you to enter your company or organisation name if you are using WTC in a work context. The organisation name is optional, and defaults to any organisation name that you have associated with your Windows username. You must enter a name for yourself, however, if you try to proceed with the name field blank, the Installation Wizard displays a message box telling you that you must enter a name, then returns you to the registration page when OK is clicked or ENTER pressed.

The Installation Wizard picks up on your settings for a current installation, if a version of WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm) is already installed, and will suggest these for subsequent installations, rather than the Windows settings.

To proceed to the next page of the Installation Wizard, click the Next button, or click the Back button to return to the previous page if you wish to review information or change selections. You can proceed to the next page by pressing ENTER if no other button has the Windows focus.
