While running the WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm) installation program, you can decide to abandon it (abort) at any time prior to the actual installation of files and settings taking place. Simply press the Escape key or click the Cancel button.

If you abort as soon as the opening screen is displayed, the installer terminates immediately. Aborting at any time after the opening screen displays a confirmation box asking you if you really want to exit the wizard. If you do, click the Yes button or press letter "y"; this will terminate the program completely. If you decide not to exit the setup program, Click the No button or press letter "n".Note that the No button is the default response by pressing ENTER, to help prevent accidentally exiting the program before the finish page comes up.

Once you have passed the install page by pressing the Install button, you cannot cancel the installation as the software has then already been installed and the operation cannot be undone. You can also not close down with Alt+F4, the only way to stop the installer running after that point would be to restart Windows or use Task Manager to close it, but this is not advisable. Run the installer to completion, and then if required uninstall the software again from Control Panel.
