The template used to create web by e-mil requests by default is the contents of the "webemail.txt" file in the WintextCom e-mail folder. This is specified in the second element of the "m" directory switch in the settings file. You can change this specification to use a different default template. If no path is included, it is assumed to reside in the WintextCom e-email folder.
You can also specify a template on a per-request basis. In the directory entry for the web page or web document, follow th URL by a colon (":") and then the name of or full path to the template file. If no path is included, the file is assumed to reside in the WintextCom e-mail folder.
<>The above format allows you to have directory entries that request web pages as attachments as well as in the body of an e-mail message, to specify options for receiving documents, and use other features. These directory entries must be invoked with the alternative web command, Alt Shift W, selecting them with a left mouse click or the ENTER key does not work, even to open a page in your browser; for this reason, if you are using this special format, it makes sense to also proceed the URL with an at sign ("@"), so as to make it into an alternative access entry by default; this enables you to select it in the usual way with the mouse or keyboard, and the alternative web key has no effect.
