Sticky Dot 7

By default, when dot  7 is enabled as a capitaliser, it must be pressed in combination with the dots representing the character you  intend to shift.

 

You can use the "s" option in the driver configuration string to enable "sticky" use of dot 7. When this option is enabled, a press of dot 7 will cause the next Braille character to be shifted, even if dot 7 is released before the Braille dot combination to which it applies is pressed. This option can be useful if pressing all the dots in combination is found difficult.

 

Sticky use of dot 7 is off by default. You can explicitly switch it off with uppercase "S" in the driver configuration string.
