The most basic form of a wtreqinfo menu is simply a vertical list of menu options with a set of hotkeys corresponding to the first letter of each item.

This is achieved by providing each item consecutively on the command line, enclosed in double quotes if spaces occur in the item. Provide the command line options from left to right on the command line corresponding to the order in which you want them displayed from top to bottom.

On executing the command line, wtreqinfo first writes the program banner to the screen, and then your menu items in a vertical list. The program then awaits input, which must be either a letter (upper- or lowercase) corresponding to the first letter of the option you want to select, or Escape to close the menu without making a choice. The screen cursor is positioned at the start of the line containing the bottom menu option.

Hotkeys are not case-sensitive. The hotkey for a menu option can be displayed or assigned as an upper- or lowercase letter, and in either case, it does not matter whether the hotkey is pressed capitalised or normal.
