The request information utility (wtreqinfo.exe) is a console application in the WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm) installation folder that can be used to present the user with information and a selection list, prompt box or text input prompt from within a Windows NT script, Visual Basic script or similar.
You can use the Launchpad scripting feature to easily write and test your script or batch file, then make it available for use via a shortcut key or a Launchpad directory entry. This facility is also very useful for support personnel, it offers a readily available tool that enables you to relatively quickly knock up simple but effective system extensions for users.
