When you press ENTER in the WintextCom Reader to save text in a library file in capture mode, you can just type in the filename and press ENTER, or you can press the Tab key to move to the list of files already there and press ENTER to select one for replacement or to append the new information.

You might prefer to save the new file in a new folder. To save in a new folder:

  1. Type in a name for the folder.
  2. Press Control+ENTER. The mew folder is created and you are moved to the files list.
  3. Press End to move to the bottom of the list where the newly-created folder is currently located.
  4. Press ENTER to access the folder, which is empty at this stage.
  5. Press Tab to move to the filename entry box.
  6. Type in a filename and press ENTER to save the information.

By default, when you open the library by pressing Control+O (Control+WindowsKey+O in any application), and during a save operation, you can browse the files in the library and in subfolders of the library, but you cannot browse outside the library.  To open a file in a library subfolder, or save information in a subfolder, you must first browse into the folder and then enter a filename in the entry box. You cannot type a path when entering filenames.
