If your installation is password protected, you will be asked to enter the password after confirming agreement to the software licence terms and limited warranty.

Installers for the evaluation edition of the software are never passworded. Registered distributions might be, depending on the way they are provided to the user. An alternative to passwording the install program is to provide it inside a .zip file with the password on the .zip instead of the installer.

Unless other files are being provided with WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm) by S.W.H.-Wintextware, it would normally be the installer itself that is password protected, and you will have received information indicating the required password in associated correspondence or other communication. Type in the required password when the password page comes up, and press ENTER or click the Next button to proceed to the next wizard page.

If you enter an incorrect password and press ENTER or click Next, or try to proceed without entering the password, a message box appears informing you that the password is incorrect and suggesting you try again. Click the OK button or press ENTER to return to the password page where you can enter it again. Note that if your password consists of just letters or includes letters as well as numbers, you must enter the correct case of those letters ("catdog" will not work for "CatDog").
