The Finish page of the WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm) Installation Wizard is the final page and presents a Finish button instead of the Next button. When you click the Finish button or press ENTER, the wizard terminates after starting the WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm) program.
There are several checkboxes on the finish page. The first one, which is in focus when the page appears, is the "Start WintextCom now" checkbox#" to run WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm) as soon as you click Finish or press ENTER. Because the checkbox is in focus, you can press the space bar to switch between its checked and unchecked status.
The start-on-finish checkbox is always checked by default. Running WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm) after first installation is a convenient way to get on with making your required configuration changes, as described in the Launchpad and WintextCom setup sections of the installation guide and in more detail in the configuration and customisation section of the user manual. Once the program is running, you can also use the help menu to open the user manual or usage tutorials. Existing users who are installing an upgrade or registered version after an evaluation can start the software immediately and proceed straight to the what's new option on the help menu to find out about new features, changes and enhancements in the release just installed.
The Installation Wizard finish page also presents three print checkboxes, which are unchecked by default. Checking these boxes enables you to print out the read me information, setup manual and tutorials, respectively, when the Finish button is clicked or ENTER pressed. It is a lot of printing, especially if you print all three files, but new users might find it convenient first time round, particularly the setup manual for specific configuration details to refer to separately while working with the software itself. All of this information is available in the user manual and you may already have viewed the read me file, with last-minute release and some basic usage information, before the finish page appeared. Printing takes place on your default system printer, which must be connected and ready before the Finish button is activated.
The finish page also provides the Back button in case you want to return to the preceding wizard page to display the read me file if you have not already done so, or proceed further back through the wizard pages. Click Finish or press the ENTER key when you are ready to exit the Installation Wizard.
