The Braille reading features of WintextCom are integral to the WintextCom Reader, which provides versatile reading capabilities with information storage and retrieval:
- Read a document continuously with only one keystroke to move the Braille display through the text.
- Keep track of your reading position by automatically saving a bookmark when you close a document, and bookmark other places of interest in the text.
- Dial telephone numbers, send SMS texts and E-mail messages, and open web pages directly from information in a document you are reading, or store the number or address in the directory.
- Organise reading material in a WintextCom repository called the library.
- Capture information and save it in the library from e-mail messages, web pages, other documents, a scanner, and virtually any required source.
The use and features of the WintextCom Braille reader are fully described in the section covering the library and reader. It is the reader's operation when WintextCom is enabled for Braille mode.
