WintextCom offers a special mode of operation that is designed to provide dedicated support for the use of an electronic Braille display. In this mode, text is displayed on the "Braille display line" near the bottom of the screen, and is represented on the user's Braille display unit. The user can move forwards and backwards through the text by pressing single keys on the keyboard, or in some circumstances, on their Braille display unit. The text can be read continuously with just one key, in a clean format without breaking words at the end s of the display or requiring additional actions to account for pages or lines that are longer than the display or width of the window on screen. It is a very simple and convenient way to read text in Braille, without the possible complications that are inherent when reading text in standard applications programs.
