This folder ("document_templates" in the WintextCom home folder") contains template files for use with the WintextCom Documents feature.

To begin with, if you copy the file "lpdocument.doc" from the WintextCom home folder to this document templates folder, WintextCom Documents will create word processor files and open them in Wordpad, MS Word, or whatever other word processor you have set up on your computer. You can add text to "lpdocument.doc" to furnish a working template.

If there is no "lpdocument.doc" present in this folder, WintextCom Document creates plain text files that open in Windows Notepad or your text editor. You can create a plain text template by saving the text in a file called "lpdocument.txt".

WintextCom Lite creates documents for your word processor using the "lpdocument.doc" template in the WintextCom home folder, or plain text files using a text template in that folder. this enables users of the fullbklown version of WintextCom to set up two different uses of WintextCom Documents by simply running WintextCom Lite from the file menu. More advanced implementation of the WintextCom Documents features enables you to work with as many templates as you need in all types of applications program.
