WintextCom is not designed to provide database facilities in the specific sense of the term. However, it does provide capabilities that offer invaluable flexibility in the management of information and interaction with other database software.
- You can use the inboard directory navigation features to store information in an organised tree, including note items that do not get printed or included in retrieved information. See the directory navigation menu in the software.
- You can use application items to provide direct access to related information in external software from within a directory database or section, such as Microsoft Excel or Access.
- Each directory list can have a linked document, which can be any other type of file, document, or even program. This feature is not full available at the present time.
