If you want information about windows in a hidden application that you cannot bring into focus, you can obtain it by specifying the application name as a filter in a system snapshot.

  1. Press Control+Alt+WindowsKey+F11 to bring up the System Explorer settings input box.
  2. Enter a configuration string, including 's' for system snapshot.
  3. Enter an oblique stroke ('/').
  4. Enter the name of the program you want to examine. This must be the name only, it cannot include a path, but must include the filename extension.
  5. Press ENTER to run System Explorer.

 

System Explorer checks desktop windows and displays the requested information for the first one it finds belonging to the specified program The program name check is case-insensitive.
