The product described in this documentation is the Windows Text Communications Personal Information Manager(tm), Version 1.0.2342, also referred to as the WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm), WintextCom, or "WTC".

The primary characteristic of the WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm) software is a consistent user interface providing access to all facilities available on your computer, as well as a range of inboard features. The WintextCom platform, called the directory, can be used as a replacement for the Windows desktop, or as a supplement to it, depending on your requirements.

The WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm) provides customisable quick keys to access many facilities from anywhere at any time, which are automatically available when the software is running. These include opening your word processor, Internet and e-mail programs, and the WintextCom personal library.

This software has been developed by S.W.H.-Wintextware to provide a common platform on which to organise and from which to invoke many common computer tasks, more advanced procedures and communications. With its simple and consistent user interface, WintextCom brings user-friendliness and productivity gains for users with all needs and computer abilities, from merely surfing the Internet and reading, keeping in touch with friends and relatives by e-mail or just writing and printing correspondence, to keeping a diary and records, processing research data, managing projects and maintaining a business.
