Launchpad shell extensions are shortcut commands that allow you to quickly activate Launchpad functions from any application when the Launchpad software is running in the background.
<>Like the shell commands listed earlier, the shell extensions are equivalent to clicking program toolbar buttons, which have corresponding menu items and "local hotkeys" that can be used when Launchpad is the active application. Exactly the same considerations apply to these commands as to the shell commands themselves. Customising the extensions will enable users to replace the Launchpad functions by more specific versions based on other applications (for example if you already use a diary program), but still be able to access them as part of Launchpad and have global accelerators assigned to them when Launchpad is running..
In the list bellow, we give the local hotkey corresponding to an item first, followed by the global equivalent. The local hotkeys are displayed in the corresponding menu items within Launchpad, and constitute a slightly simpler set of keystrokes than the global versions, that can be quickly accessed when WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm) is the active application. The global versions of the keystrokes are available at any time (including when WintextCom Personal Information Manager(tm) is active, and provide always- and instantly-available quick access to frequently-used Launchpad features regardless of your current activity.
