- Move highlight down one line: Cursor Down Arrow
- Move highlight up one line: Cursor Up Arrow
- Move highlight to first entry (top): Home or Control+Home
- Move highlight to last entry (bottom): End or Control+End
- Move highlight to next paragraph heading: Tab
- Move highlight to prior or current paragraph heading: Shift+Tab. The current paragraph is the one containing the line with the highlight
- Move highlight down one screen: PGDN
- Move Highlight up one screen: PGUP
- Search for text: Type it, highlight moves down to next entry containing text typed so far, wraps to top if necessary
- Clear current search text to begin new: Home or Control key
- Move highlight to next occurrence of current search text: F3, wraps to top if necessary
- Move highlight to first occurrence of current search text from top: Backspace
- Move highlight to first information line from current position: Control+Cursor Down Arrow. Current position or line refers to line with highlight. An information line is a line with an information field after a colon (":"). This command does not change the position of the highlight if the current line is itself an information line, and does not search beyond the current paragraph
- Move highlight to first address line in paragraph: Control+Cursor Up Arrow. Intended for paragraphs containing postal addresses, highlights the line under the paragraph heading
- Move highlight to next paragraph heading starting with a different character: F2
- Move highlight to prior paragraph heading starting with different character: Shift+F2
- Open submenu directory: ENTER on highlighted line, or left click line. Braille users can press cursor routing button corresponding to any character on line
- Switch back to top level directory from submenu directory (the one in ring that started the chain): Control+Tab
- Switch to next directory file in ring (from top level file): Control+Tab
- Show highlighted entry and status line in message box: Alt+Shift+S. Also, JAWS JAWSKey+PGDN to show status line in Braille without message box
- Show current time and date in window: Control+T, then Escape or ENTER to close. Also JAWS JAWSKey+End to show time bar in Braille without window
