In the following list of Braille chord commands, the dots are pressed in combination with the space bar. The actual letter represented, if any, is shown in brackets, and is uppercase if dot 7 is included in the dot pattern. As a rule, we have tried to avoid the use of simple letter chords except in cases that have been traditionally used on other Braille systems, so as to keep them available for user-defined chords when the feature is implemented in WTC, without overwriting system functionality. Chords which perform system functions generally include either dot 7 or dot 8, combined with letter indicating the function.
