Braille Keyboard Options

There are a number of options that you can specify when setting up a computer keyboard Braille input layout. The default option is "l", for local mode keyboard, so that no options need to be specified to activate the Braille input keyboard for use within WTC only.

 

Options are specified before the Braille dot pattern and separated from it by a comma. If you wish to not specify the dot pattern, but to use the default, you must place a comma after the options followed by no characters, to indicate that the preceding characters represent keyboard options rather than a dot pattern definition.

 

The options are represented by single characters, and are case-sensitive. The available options are listed below.
