When you are reading a file in the WintextCom Reader, you can press WindowsKey+G9 to copy it to a new location. This is the capture document command that is used to save information in the library from another application. When it is used in the WintextCom Reader itself, it allows you to make a copy of the file you are reading.

The library opens immediately for you to type in or select a filename. Your current reading position and any other bookmarks are copied to the new file as well as remaining with the old.

Exporting a file with Control+X is identical to copying it, except that no bookmark information is copied. This command os useful for copying a file to a permanent location without recording bookmark information for the copy. If you press Control+X  instead of ENTER to save captured information to the library, it will be saved without recording your current reading position or other bookmarks.
