Use "k?" as the first command line parameter, and the name of the application to terminate as the second, no path. If more than one instance of the application is running, or applications with the same name are running from different paths, it is not possible to specify which instance is terminated.

This switch will not terminate an application whose security attributes prevent it from obtaining a termination handle.

Use of this option terminates the program immediately, if possible. Depending on the construction of that program, this action can  leave the system in an unstable state.
